Partnership International e.V., formerly Fulbright-Society, Cologne, is a not-for-profit exchange organization and consists of a constantly rising membership. As Partnership International e.V. is membership owned and volunteer based, every single person who joins us is warmly welcomed and invited to get involved in working voluntarily for and with us. PI offers a huge variety of work-groups in different areas. All these groups are centered on the general meeting that takes place once a year during the annual membership meeting in Cologne. The board then reports about the events and results of the past year. Moreover, general decisions are made, a mutual discussion takes place and every three years, a new board is elected.

The general meeting cannot keep the association to living by itself, though. The members’ activities, the events, internal education, anniversary events – in short, all the opportunities where our members can communicate and volunteer - keep it alive. Our association organizes exchange- and visiting programs, which do not end with flying back home. The exchange and meeting foreign cultures become permanent companions of every former participant and member. Partnership International e.V. offers a base for communication and for the interchange of personal experiences – briefly, for the encouragement of transmitting the main thought of the cultural exchange in Fulbright’s sense.

Generations of those who feel enthusiastic about cultural exchanges, many of our former participants and also those who recently joined us have found their place and home in our organization, no matter where they live today. You can meet them during the workshops and local meetings that take place regularly.
